A woman is calling for more responsible pet ownership after she was attacked by a pack of dogs in Western Australia's far north.WARNING: This article includes images of injuries that some readers may find distressing.While Eva, whose name has been changed for privacy reasons, and her dog escaped with non-life-threatening injuries, she feared the attack "could have ended much worse".Eva says the attack occurred on the morning of Sunday, June 21, when she and a friend were walking their dogs on a dirt track on the outskirts of Kununurra, 3,000 kilometres north of Perth She said she suddenly noticed about 10 dogs, including big mastiffs being walked off-leash by two people, run towards them. Eva said one of the dogs began the attack, with another six joining in."I had basically seven dogs around me trying to bite my dog and trying to hurt my dog," Eva said. Eva said she was bitten once on her hand while trying to hoist up her dog to protect him. "You feel really helpless in that moment because you cannot fight off seven dogs," she said. "I literally felt my dog was going to be killed." While Eva's friend tried to help, she claims the man and woman walking the dogs off-leash did not offer any assistance and walked off. Hospital records seen by the ABC show Eva received treatment for cuts on her hands and feet, as well as a tetanus injection. She said her dog had multiple puncture wounds and was treated by a vet.Eva said the incident had left her "traumatised" and action should be taken.Eva reported the incident to local rangers and took to social media to warn other residents.Her warning prompted shared experiences of similar incidents around town."There's too many unrestrained dogs
