Two people arrested after death of teenager outside Melbourne hospital

Two people have been arrested following the death of a teenage boy outside a medical centre in Melbourne's north last night.The 15-year-old boy was found with what police believed to be stab wounds outside the Craigieburn Community Hospital about 7:50pm.A worker from the medical centre performed CPR on the boy but he died at the scene.A 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were arrested about 5:30am in Pascoe Vale and will be interviewed by police.Police established a crime scene outside the hospital and Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the boy's death.A Northern Health spokesperson confirmed a staff member discovered the boy in the car park of the hospital on Wednesday night."Despite the immediate efforts of hospital staff and emergency responders to provide assistance, the young man sadly died from his injuries," the spokesperson said."Our thoughts are with the young man's family and loved ones during this difficult time We are also providing support to the staff members involved in this tragic event."Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has footage or information, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
