Record-breaking Leonard wants to leave Wallaroos jersey 'in a better place'

Michaela Leonard, a 31-year-old Wallaroos lock, is set to become the most-capped player in Wallaroos history with her 46th Test appearance against New Zealand's Black Ferns. Leonard credits the women who paved the way for her with decades of dedication to the Wallaroos jersey, and hopes to inspire the next generation of female rugby players. She reflects on her unconventional path to rugby, starting as a basketballer who joined the ACT Brumbies in her early 20s, and is grateful for the opportunities she's had to grow the game and share her knowledge.
