Two men allegedly used a drone to fly meth stored in a dog waste bag in Wollongong, but the delivery was foiled after the device crashed into a building.Police were called to a unit in Corrimal Street following reports Kayd Simpson, 24, and Joshua Dendulk, 43, were allegedly acting suspiciously in the area shortly before midnight on Tuesday.On arrival, police found the men allegedly hiding inside the unit.Officers spoke with the men, who said they were looking for a drone, which was uncovered in the unit shortly after carrying a green dog waste bag containing 66 grams of meth.The damaged drone was seized, with police alleging Mr Simpson and Mr Dendulk used it to deliver drugs in the area before it crashed into the building.Both men were arrested and charged with supplying more than an indictable quantity of drugs, entering enclosed land, and possessing drugs.The men faced virtual Bail Court on Wednesday and were refused bail.A further raid on Wednesday at a Cliff Road unit that was modified with metal and several deadbolts on the front door, allegedly uncovered a baton, an electronic stun device, 42 grams of meth, and $4,350 in cash.Mr Simpson and Mr Dendulk, who have not entered pleas to their charges, will appear in court again in May.
