Police have charged a 31-year-old Brisbane man with manslaughter following a fatal crash allegedly involving a stolen utility at Woodford yesterday.The Ellen Grove man allegedly stole a white Isuzu Dmax utility from a home address on McLoughlin Road in Morayfield around 3:45am on Tuesday.Police will allege he was driving a stolen utility on Archers St around 6:10am when it collided with an orange Toyota Corolla.The driver of the Toyota, Carron Scott, 60, of Caboolture South, was driving to work and died at the scene.Ms Scott worked as a registered nurse at a Woodford aged care centre.Police will allege the male driver of the ute fled the scene on foot but was arrested at Woodford State School about 8:30am.A spokesperson for the Department of Education confirmed Woodford State School went into lockdown but it was lifted about 9:10am.Detective Acting Inspector Lisa Elkins from Moreton District Crime Services said at a press conference in Caboolture on Tuesday that Ms Scott's family was being supported following the crash.The 31-year-old Brisbane man will face Caboolture Magistrates Court today and has been charged with one count each of manslaughter, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, failing to remain at an incident, disqualified driving, drug driving and two counts of trespass.
