Airborne car becomes wedged in side of Brisbane bus

Police have launched an investigation after a car became wedged in the side of a bus in Brisbane's south.Emergency services were called to the intersection of Beaudesert and Granard Roads in Rocklea at about 6:30pm yesterday, following reports a hatchback had become airborne and struck a Brisbane City Council bus.The driver of the car was taken to hospital in shock The bus driver was not hurt.A Brisbane City Council spokeswoman confirmed there were no passengers on the bus at the time.The bus driver did not sustain any injuries from the incident.
