Three people have been arrested after a 13-year-old boy was killed in a crash involving a suspected stolen car in the NSW Hunter.Emergency services responded to reports of a crash at Gateshead in Lake Macquarie about 3am.Officers discovered a SUV had left the road and crashed into a nearby field.First responders attempted to revive a 13-year-old boy but he died at the scene.A 14-year-old boy, who was inside the vehicle, suffered leg injuries and was arrested at the scene.Police said two other occupants of the car fled the scene before officers arrived.An 18-year-old man and another 14-year-old boy were later arrested They are in John Hunter Hospital under police guard. A crime scene was established and the crash is being investigated.Following inquiries, police said the car was stolen from the Swansea area overnight.Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward
